I know that many do not know the start of Kent and I and so here we go…..
We met at break the fast, he had come down from Tulare with a bunch of his friends to ward hop. At the time I thought that it was silly and paid no attention to him. Then a friend invited me over to play games with everyone and I thought sure why not, well to my surprise those boys who had gone to break the fast had now moved to the game night… strange I thought. So we played games and then another friend told them about a condor’s hockey game going on in a few months. (Mind you at this point I had not really spoken with any of these guys yet.) So they all talked about how they wanted to come and then one of the guys (later to be known as Kent) looked at me and said to me, “are you going to the condors game” I said, “ I will have to see I really don’t go to those that often, maybe.” Kent then said “Well if you don’t go to the game then I am not going” That about made my mouth drop to the floor, who was this guy with the gumption of saying to me, not to mention I was terribly flattered (who wouldn’t be…right…) so that was all it took for me and I said yup I will be there, (Tennille you will appreciate this one) but if I get garlic fries watch out I might blow in your face. So the night of the game I got there late… and did not sit by him I went with another guy friend, and they assumed that we were dating so he did not talk to me then; by the way we were not dating. WE then trampled over to Rosemarie’s. I sat at a different table because the other table was filled with everyone that went to the game, but Kent and a few of his other friends came to sit by me. Now when Kent sits down what are the first words out of his mouth……. “Hey Sarah, I thought you were going to blow in my face”……..what came after that……..cricket cricket…. I had forgotten all about that and I looked at him like a CRAZY person…. Needless to say Kent thought I would never want to talk to him again. I left that night not knowing if I would ever see him again. But obviously I did, so that is the next chapter in the Kent and Sarah love story of the century.

Lol you see what happens when you don't stay away. Well at least you caught yourself a good one. Anyway are you two still planning on coming out this way this summer? We have two other past missionaries and their wives coming out this way this summer and they are staying with my parents. I can't remember if Kent served with them or not. But they are really close to my family as well. In fact my sister is marrying one of the missionaries wives brothers. Anyway if you two plan on coming and need a place to stay just let us know. Peyton and I have a house now and we have plenty of space. So hope all is well with you two and can't wait to read more on you two love birds.
